HR Specialist

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join the People & Culture team and bring our HR topics to the next level.

At Journi, a creative tech company, we’re building the #1 most downloaded printing app in the world that allows customers to create beautiful photo books and other print products without effort. Using AI technology, we automatically create personalized designs based on the content our users want to print.

➤ WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work 38,5h from the Journi HQ in Vienna  as part of a passionate and super international team

• Take care of the employee life cycle from handling international visa processes, contract signing to the first day and beyond

• Conduct employee onboarding, assist team leads with new hires and gather constant feedback on new hire experience 

• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, guiding HR policies, procedures and best practices

• Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, as well as document all learnings

• Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and benefits package

• Have the chance to dig deeper into various HR topics of the company and learn from other startups and experts we are in touch     with

• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and assist in finding the best talent if needed 

• Be a reliable team member who is always keen to offer support and foster a culture of happiness :)

➤ YOUR BAG OF TRICKS

• 2-3 years of experience in HR-related roles

• You bring good knowledge of Austrian labour law practices and managing the RWR process

• You have experience with an application management system 

• You make data-driven decisions and have experience working with HR metrics

• You bring experience in a startup environment or high-growth company

• You have great organisational skills and being accurate is important to you

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German

• Experience in sourcing and recruiting international talents (tech, marketing or product roles)

• Any additional language skills (German, French, Italian or any Nordic languages are a plus!)

A minimum annual gross salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement, starting at EUR 37.000. Our final offer depends on your experience and qualifications amongst other factors. A bunch of awesome social benefits such as:
